Abstract:
This webinar discusses IEEE standards on smart cities, the importance of integrated technologies, ongoing research, and open issues for smart city infrastructure applications. The IEEE Smart Cities Initiative is introduced. Also explored are: the background of smart cities and cyber-physical systems, cyber-physical ICT, control and communication quality, energy efficiency, and cybersecurity.
